Nightclubs

There are no shortage of Clubs in Perth. The Majority of them are within the district of Northbridge, making it possible to go on something of a club crawl on a Friday and Saturday night. Many of them have special offers especially during the week. These special offers are often aimed at Backpackers. At the time of writing it is possible to go out Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights and receive a free meal and cheap or free drink each night.

On a Friday and Saturday the locals come out of hiding and the club scene dramatically changes. Expect to have to dress up quite carefully, the dress codes vary from club to club, night to night and is often dependant on what the bouncer ate for lunch. A rule of thumb is trainers, steel-toe-cap boots (they always spot them) and T-shirts are out, If your planning a big night out, it might be wise to ring to check what sort of club it is. Backpacker nights are very relaxed (still no steel toecaps) and pretty much anything goes.

Despite the weekend dress codes Perth is a great place to go out, and with the right flyers, advice and attitude its possible to have a good time and still get change from $10.
NOTE: Clubs and the offers they put on change as often as the weather, so for the latest info, pop into the Traveller's Club when you arrive in Perth, and ask any staff (the younger ones can still keep up with pace!) for what's going, on chances are you'll see them there making sure their information is up-to-date!
