Because Australia is seen as such a desirable country to spend time in, the Australian Government is very strict about who can and can’t work.
As a result, people who enter Australia on a Visitor’s Visa CANNOT do any work.
This is a point the Government is very serious about and anyone caught working illegally faces being deported.
Working Holiday Visa
The only people who can legitimately work while on holiday are people who have a Working Holiday Visa. As the visa is intended for those who need to work to finance their travels, you are only allowed to work for an employer for up to three months.
